Our Story
Rize was founded by three chartered accountants who spent their careers at the intersection of finance, transactions, and company building. Before starting the firm, the founding team worked across financial services, NBFC regulation, investment analysis, and CFO roles at early-stage companies.
The firm was built around a straightforward observation: founders and promoters doing significant transactions often end up with advisors who are either too large to give them real attention, or too narrow to handle the full scope of a deal. Rize was set up to fill that gap, working as a small, senior team on transactions and advisory work that requires both technical depth and practical judgment.
We are based in Chennai and work with clients across India on transactions, fundraises, valuations, and ongoing advisory mandates.
The Founders
CA Sanket Mehta
Co-founder and Director
Sanket's background spans investment analysis, NBFC regulation, and CFO work at early-stage companies. Before Rize, he worked at Dvara Holdings as a financial analyst and later as a designated CFO across two portfolio entities. He advises on transaction structuring, valuations, fundraise advisory, and tax structuring, with a particular focus on financial services and growth-stage companies.
CA Saloni Mehta
Co-founder and Director
Saloni focuses on financial due diligence, vCFO engagements, and client advisory. Her work spans financial reporting, board documentation, and supporting founders through fundraises and operational finance decisions. She brings a grounded, detail-oriented approach to engagements where financial clarity matters as much as strategic advice.
CA Sahil Jain
Co-founder and Director
Sahil leads valuation assignments at Rize and is a registered valuer under the Companies Act. His work covers Rule 11UA and 11UAE valuations, purchase price allocations, DCF models, and brand valuations across sectors. He combines technical rigour with a practical understanding of how valuations feed into transaction and compliance decisions.
